YardSharks Landscaping was founded in Sonora by Jayden and Jesse — two locals who grew up seeing what deferred yard maintenance does to a foothill property. We started the company to fix that: give homeowners in Tuolumne and Calaveras counties a real local crew that shows up, communicates, and leaves a property genuinely better.
The short version
Two owner-operators, one crew, one text thread. We service Sonora, Twain Harte, Jamestown, Murphys, Copperopolis, and 10 other communities across Tuolumne and Calaveras counties.
What we actually do
Weekly and bi-weekly lawn care, seasonal cleanups, hedge and small tree work, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, and — the work that matters most in the foothills — CAL FIRE aligned defensible space clearing. Everything on a single crew, single point of contact, single monthly invoice.
Why local matters
National franchises don't know that Kewin Mill drains differently than Mono Way, that Copperopolis oaks drop earlier than Sonora oaks, that Twain Harte cabins need a pre-season roof clear or the first winter storm is a problem. We do. We live 10 minutes from your property and that means route density, reliability, and someone who actually cares about the finished job.

- Commercial equipment sharpened weekly — no ragged cuts
- Full haul-off on every visit, no exceptions
- Text updates before, during, and after service
- Written scope on every quote, and any scope change quoted in writing before we start
Response time
We aim for a written quote within four hours of your request during business hours. Recurring plans usually start within a week. Emergency and post-CAL FIRE-notice defensible space work is prioritized.
